FACET FS

Facet FS is a 2007 Oldenburg mare by Furst Impression out of Denim/Davignport.

Facet spent some time as a young horse in training with David Wightman in California and had a short, but very successful career in the show ring at the lower levels before returning home to her breeder, Marty Hunt, in Kansas. When Marty reached out to me about my 2020 colt, Qeanu KS (full sibling to Qandlelight KS), we discovered very quickly that we are perfectly aligned in philosophy of both breeding and horse managment and her lovely mare, Facet, was a cousin to both Qali and Qeanu and I just couldn't help myself. Facet came to live with me as an invaluable asset to my breeding program and Marty is now the proud owner of Qeanu KS.

Facet FS is in foal to Fortunado H2O for a June 2023 foal. Stay Tuned!

Oliveira

Oliveira is a 2012 Danish Warmblood mare by Blue Hors Don Olymbrio out of Wolke Hit/Sandro Hit.

Miss Oli was originally bred in Denmark and had a brief, but successful under saddle career before being purchased and imported by Oak Hill Farm where she had two foals. Kismet Sporthorses was lucky enough to acquire Oli in 2021 and have been so impressed by her presence, sensibility and spent just enough time riding her to fall in love with her undersaddle temperment and rideability.

At her inspection, Oliveira scored a 9 for Total Impression and Awarded an RDH grading and Bronze Medal. Comment from the judge, “Long Legged, big framed, and harmonious mare with good harmony. Very good Gaits.”

She received a 9 for Walk, 8 for Trot, and 7.5 Canter. 9 for Type, 8 for Head/Neck, 8 for Shoulder/Withers, 8 Topline/Hindquarters, 7 for Front Legs, and 7 for Hind Legs.

We are very excited to welcome Oli's first foal for KS by Fortunado H2O in March of 2023. Stay Tuned!

Qandlelight KS

Qandlelight KS is a 2016 Oldenburg mare by Qredit out of Dalliance/Davignport. Qali is the very first progeny of the Kismet Breeding Program out of our foundation mare, Dalliance.

At her foal inspection, Qali earned an overall score of 8.0 and was branded a Premium Foal and Site Champion filly. Four years later, at her Mare Inspection, Qali was given a score of 108.5 earning her entry in to the Premium Mare book and was tied for top scoring mare in the country for Oldenburg NA in 2020.

In 2020, Qali was started slowly and correctly under saddle and is currently doing phenomenally well while also pulling double duty and is in foal to Fortunato H2O for a June 2023 foal. Stay Tuned!
